on life's intricacies

always questioned is the world.
by those who wonder, those who want to be heard,
those who doubt it.

a man once said "the world need dreamers
for it to have a soul."
but another man answered,
"but we need realists
to keep it alive."

a moment that's held in our arms
untemporary, unstable and uncertain.
we can't fight the current.

we see the little picture and its bound
most of the time it is at its extremes
we do not see what's beyond the horizon
but it doesn't stop there. there's hope.

the world is but a dream we create.
we never notice its fast-paced evolution.
today it exists, but someday it will diminish.
and we never know when.

we see the complicated things
and we do not focus on the simple ones.
we never notice life's gifts to us
that's why we never valu it.

we see not the beauty in it.
what we notice are the problems we have created.
we value not those
that are supposed to be valued.

we can always change how we view the world.
it is upon our decision.
it is in us where the change we want lies.
